Spice Girls fans rejoice! The popular former girl band is all set to reunite on Monday. They are also going to announce a “huge UK stadium tour”. The iconic nineties girl group has ‘secretly recorded a video message’ which is to be broadcast on bonfire night, as reported by The Sun. The group seems to be ready to take off on a stadium tour which will include eight shows, according to insiders who leaked this information to Entertainment Tonight.
Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, not including Victoria Beckham, are all set to reunite for the Jonathan Ross Show on November 11. The fact that Beckham is not involved in this reunion caused fans to think that there was some bad blood between the former Spice sisters but the wife of David Beckham made it clear that there is no beef here, even sharing a snap with Mel C from the Global Gift Gala which took place on Friday. This tour will be the first tour the girls have gone on since their 2007 Viva Forever reunion. Their last performance together was at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, all the wayback in 2012.
The Spice Girls shot up to fame in 1996 with their smash-hit number ‘Wannabe’, which topped the charts in 37 countries. They were also critically acclaimed for popularizing the term “girl power”, which helped in encouraging female empowerment. Ever since the group split up all the girls have gone on to venture into the world of business, emerging successful.
